This notice explains what information AnswerLedger collects, why it is used, and how to raise a question or objection. Questions: hello@getanswerledger.com.
1. What information is collected
AnswerLedger collects only the information needed to respond to inquiries and produce reports:
- Email correspondence — your name, email address, and the content of the messages you send.
- Engagement inputs — the company or product URL, the category or use case, and the competitor names you provide for a report.
- Billing details — the information needed to issue an invoice for a confirmed engagement.
This website itself does not use forms, login accounts, or third-party analytics or tracking pixels.
2. Why it is used
- To answer inquiries and confirm scope, inputs, and delivery slots.
- To produce and deliver the reports you order.
- To issue invoices and keep records of paid engagements.
- To honor opt-out and suppression requests.
3. Corporate outreach
Where AnswerLedger contacts companies directly, outreach is addressed to business roles using publicly available corporate contact information. A record of the source of each contact is kept. Recipients can opt out at any time by replying to any message or writing to hello@getanswerledger.com; opted-out addresses are added to a suppression list and not contacted again.
4. Data sharing
Client inputs and reports are not shared with third parties and are not used as public marketing material without written permission. No client data appears in demonstration samples or on this site. Basic service providers (such as email and invoicing infrastructure) process data only as needed to deliver the service.
5. Retention
Correspondence, engagement records, and archived report evidence are kept for as long as they are needed for the purposes above, including record-keeping for delivered engagements, and are then deleted. Suppression records are kept for as long as needed to honor the opt-out.
6. Security
Access to correspondence, inputs, and report evidence is limited to what is needed to operate the service, and reasonable technical and organizational measures are applied to protect it.
7. Your rights and contact
You can ask what information is held about you, request a correction or deletion, or object to further contact at any time by writing to hello@getanswerledger.com. Requests are answered in writing.
8. Changes to this notice
If this notice changes materially, the updated version is published on this page before it takes effect. The version published at the time of your interaction is the version that applies to it.
