Terms & Policies

Operating terms, in plain language

These are the rules AnswerLedger operates under. They are written to be read, not skimmed. Questions: hello@getanswerledger.com.

1. What the service is

AnswerLedger is an independent research and reporting service. It produces evidence-based reports on how selected AI answer systems present a company and its competitors under a documented set of buyer-intent prompts. Deliverables are documents and recordings — a diagnostic service, not implementation work, not consulting hours, and not meetings.

Findings describe archived AI outputs collected under the stated protocol on the stated dates. AI outputs are time-bound and can change by surface, access method, date, location, and context.

2. Products and prices

  • Snapshot — $250, 100% prepayment.
  • Agency Pilot — $490, 100% prepayment. Scope: two white-label Snapshots.

These are the active offers. Deeper audits or ongoing monitoring may become available after an initial paid engagement; their terms are confirmed in writing per engagement.

Prices are fixed and public. If a price changes, it changes on this site first and never retroactively for a paid order.

3. Payment terms

  • 100% prepayment for the Snapshot and the Agency Pilot.
  • No net terms. No discounts. No automatic subscriptions.
  • No work before confirmed payment and complete client inputs.
  • Payment instructions are sent after scope and availability are confirmed.

4. Delivery timing

  • The delivery window begins from the later of confirmed payment and complete client inputs.
  • Snapshot: delivery within 48 hours of window start.
  • Incomplete or materially wrong inputs pause the delivery window until corrected.

5. Your inputs and responsibilities

  • You provide three inputs: company or product URL, category or use case, and key competitors. Nothing sensitive is required — no account access, no analytics, no credentials.
  • You confirm you are authorised to order a report about the company you name.

6. Corrections, refunds, and re-runs

  • Reports document archived outputs. A report is not refundable because the findings are unwelcome.
  • If a report contains a factual error — a claim not supported by the shipped evidence — it is corrected and the affected part re-run at no cost.
  • If an order cannot be started, any payment already made is refunded in full.
  • If you cancel after payment but before production starts, the payment is refunded in full.
  • AI outputs change over time. A later run producing different results than your report is not an error and not grounds for a refund.

7. Batched Q&A round

Each delivered Snapshot includes one batched Q&A round: follow-up questions about the report, collected in a single email and answered together in writing or as a recorded async walkthrough.

8. White-label boundaries (agencies)

  • White-label Snapshots are delivered under the branding agreed before payment.
  • The agency remains responsible for its own client relationship and its own claims.
  • Findings remain evidence-based and limited to the tested protocol; the agency may not present them as guarantees of rankings or outcomes.
  • No claim may be made that the underlying brands commissioned AnswerLedger directly.
  • Raw evidence ships with every report so each claim can be checked.

9. Evidence and data handling

  • Raw run data (prompts, dates, archived outputs) ships with every report so every finding can be checked.
  • Your inputs and reports are not shared with third parties and are not used as public marketing material without written permission.
  • No client data appears in demonstration samples or on this site.

See the Privacy Notice for how personal information is handled.

10. Disclaimers

  • No guarantee is made about rankings, traffic, leads, revenue, inclusion in AI answers, or any future AI response.
  • AnswerLedger does not control AI answers and does not claim to.
  • AnswerLedger is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with the AI services or brands referenced on this site.
  • Product and company names are trademarks of their respective owners.

11. Limitation of liability

Total liability for any claim connected to an engagement is limited to the amount you paid for that engagement. No liability is accepted for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Changes to these terms

Terms may change. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. Changes are never retroactive.
